After 25 years in hospitality, I have gained an in-depth understanding of customer service.
My name is Peter, and I specialize in providing personalized and high-quality real estate services to buyers and sellers on Vancouver Island.
As a successful real estate agent, I credit my achievements to my focus on putting "service first." My hospitality and tourism career spanning over three decades across thirteen countries and three continents (primarily in the tropics) prepared me for my current profession. Initially, I managed some of the Caribbean's most extensive dive facilities, worked as a restaurant owner and chef, and later as a hotel general manager, where I won numerous awards for excellence in service and guest satisfaction.
I am an active community volunteer and one of the co-founding members of Tourism Cowichan. Throughout my career, my focus has been on business development, sales, and marketing campaigns. I spend time researching and understanding the market, developing marketing plans that are imaginative, current, and can demonstrate a provable return.
I was born in England and grew up in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) where I developed a love for sports such as rugby, tennis, and water skiing. In my teens, my family moved to Durban, South Africa, where I continued playing rugby for the school/university, local town, and state. I also enjoyed surfing at the local beach but fell in love with scuba diving on a visit to Mauritius. Scuba diving soon became a professional career, initially as a treasure hunter in the Caribbean and later as a scuba instructor in various resorts worldwide.
